IZY è l’esclusivo prodotto che rende semplice ed accessibile anche ai "non addetti ai lavori" l’installazione di un impianto completo di aria condizionata all’interno di qualsiasi imbarcazione.
Racchiusi all’interno di una resistente e poco ingombrante struttura in acciaio inox 316, isolata internamente per il massimo abbattimento delle emissioni sonore, si trovano:
- un compressore ad elevata efficienza;
- uno scambiatore in cupro-nichel resistente alla corrosione;
- una batteria di scambio termico gas refrigerante-aria;
- la pompa di circolazione dell’acqua di mare;
- tutta la componentistica elettrica e elettronica.

La modalità riscaldamento viene attivata tramite l’impiego di una resistenza elettrica; in questo modo, diversamente da quanto avviene nei sistemi a pompa di calore
con inversione di ciclo, il rendimento del condizionatore non è influenzato dal diminuire della temperatura dell'acqua di mare durante la stagione fredda e si ottiene pertanto il 100% della potenza termica disponibile anche con temperatura dell'acqua inferiore ai 10°C.
