29.10 €La vernice monocomponente è più facile da applicare e si asciuga più rapidamente, ma è meno resistente all'abrasione e agli agenti chimici. La vernice bicomponente, invece, offre una protezione superiore e una maggiore durata nel tempo, ma richiede una preparazione più accurata e un tempo di asciugatura più lungo.
Il legno deve essere pulito, asciutto e carteggiato per rimuovere eventuali imperfezioni. Se il legno è già verniciato, è necessario rimuovere la vecchia vernice con uno sverniciatore o una carteggiatrice. Infine, applicare un primer per favorire l'adesione della vernice.
Per gli interni, si consiglia una vernice monocomponente a base d'acqua, inodore e facile da pulire. Per gli esterni, è preferibile una vernice bicomponente resistente agli agenti atmosferici e ai raggi UV.
Prima di verniciare, applicare un impregnante antimuffa per proteggere il legno dall'umidità e dalla formazione di muffa. Assicurarsi inoltre di aerare regolarmente l'ambiente per evitare la condensa.
Per barche in vetroresina si utilizzano vernici specifiche, spesso bicomponenti, che garantiscono aderenza e resistenza agli agenti marini. Le vernici Veneziani sono un'ottima scelta per questo tipo di applicazione.
