La visibilità minima richiesta per una luce di fonda dipende dalle dimensioni della tua imbarcazione e dalle normative locali. Le luci di fonda portatili a batteria possono essere utili in situazioni di emergenza o come soluzione temporanea. Tuttavia, è sempre consigliabile avere un sistema di illuminazione fisso e conforme alle normative per garantire la massima sicurezza durante la navigazione notturna.
Per garantire la lunga durata e l'affidabilità della tua luce di fonda, è importante pulire regolarmente i contatti elettrici, proteggerla dalla corrosione e verificare periodicamente il corretto funzionamento della lampadina o del LED. Sostituisci immediatamente eventuali componenti danneggiati.
Le normative relative all'uso delle luci di fonda variano a seconda della zona di navigazione. È fondamentale consultare le normative locali e internazionali per assicurarsi di essere in regola e di garantire la massima sicurezza durante la navigazione notturna. In generale, è obbligatorio esporre una luce di fonda bianca visibile a 360 gradi quando si è all'ancora o in navigazione notturna.
