To clean your boat's stainless steel without scratching it, use soft microfiber cloths and stainless steel-specific cleaners. Avoid abrasive pads or rough sponges. You can use stainless steel polishes to remove stains and light oxidation. Always rinse thoroughly with fresh water after cleaning.
Polish is an abrasive product that removes surface scratches and dullness from the gelcoat, restoring its shine. Wax, on the other hand, is a protective product that creates a barrier against the elements, protecting the gelcoat from UV rays, saltwater, and dirt. It is advisable to use polish first and then wax for optimal results.
To remove rust stains from the boat, you can use specific rust removers formulated for marine use. Apply the product to the stain, let it act for the indicated time, and then rub gently with a cloth or a soft-bristled brush. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after cleaning.
